The Streak

Grant has taken to streaking around the house. As soon as I take his clothes off for bath time he takes off out the bathroom door and runs around to every room in the house giggling all the way. He definitely enjoys letting it all hang out!

I went out to New York Pizza (yummy pizza but in no way rivals Giovanni's) last night with Heather, Emily, and Ginger and they had a surprise baby shower for me. I hated the fact that they went all out for me, but enjoyed every minute. I got several wonderful gifts and everything I needed. I've got two gift cards burning a hole in my pocket already. It's such a blessing to have friends like them. Thanks again for everything girls!

Grant woke up this morning and saw the balloons I brought home from the shower. Well, needless to say, he has been enjoying them all morning long. He has been running around entangled in the ribbons, laughing and screaming.

Grant has enjoyed playing outside several times this week since it has been so warm. It's pretty yucky here today and is supposed to be all weekend long. We'll see how Grant tolerates being cooped up all weekend after he has been spoiled with the warm weather. He loves going outside and gets angry when he is told "no" or "later." Chris has been working in the yard this week and he let Grant play in the dirt one evening. Grant liked taking his cars outside in the dirt and on the driveway. He is definitely all boy!

I don't go back to the doctor until the 28th and then I'll go every week after that until Ben is born. Not much longer. I'm almost to my 35th week! Sleeping comfortably is a huge task these days. My big belly just falls over whichever side I'm laying on which wreaks havoc on my back. Ugh! Ben is still very active and does several twists and turns daily. He likes laying on his side. It's funny to see my belly heaped on the right side or the left. It'll be interesting to see how different he is from Grant. I'm anxious to meet him.

More later! Have a great weekend everyone!

Jen

Go Grant! This is one of those nudey pictures we're all afraid of our parent's pulling out of the baby book - I know you'll love your momma for posting it on the web! :)

Love the pictures Jen! Glad you updated the blog.
